Having founded Clouseaux with david cummings in 1999 jay brooks currently plays the role of bassist,
composer, and bandleader. Although nominated for best bassist in the houston press in 2002 and 2005 jay's principal
focus is on clouseaux's compositions and releases. His mission is to continue to keep clouseaux recording and
to leave a quality body of work that will endure.
